I'm not sure what kind of blinds to choose. Can you help?

Happy to. Here are a few pointers to get you started. You’ll need to think about:

  • The room
  • Your colour scheme and furniture
  • The size of your window
  • How much control over light and privacy you want
  • Whether you want a special feature, like blackout or waterproof finishes

Is it possible to buy ready-made blinds and cut them down myself?

We only sell made-to-measure blinds, so our designs will fit your window perfectly and there’s no need for you to cut them down to size.

I’d like blinds for my conservatory. Can I order online and are they difficult to fit?

You can order blinds for the sides of your conservatory. Vertical blinds, Venetian blinds and Pleated blinds are all great for the job.
Is yours a uPVC conservatory? Then you might want our Perfect Fit blinds. These clip into the window frame, so there’s no drilling and no chance of ruining your sealed units.

What type of wood are your Wooden blinds made of?

Our Wooden blinds are made from basswood, which grew in sustainable forests. Basswood is strong, but flexible. So it’s the perfect material for wooden blinds.

Do you sell net curtains?

No, sorry. But you can choose a sheer fabric from our Vertical, Pleated or Roller blinds ranges. The look is much more modern (and dare we say nicer).

Do you sell blackout blinds?

We sure do. You can go for Roller blinds in a blackout fabric or have a blackout lining fitted to any of our Roman blinds.
You could also pick a dim-out option from our Vertical blinds collection for a softer effect.

Are any of your blinds good at keeping the heat out in summer?

Sure. All blinds can block the sun’s glare and stop the heat in a room from getting unbearable. But our some of our Pleated blinds are really good at this, because they have a special reflective coating.

How wide can you make a Wooden blind?

The maximum width for our 50mm Wooden blinds is 242cm.

Do your Roman blinds have a side winding mechanism?

Some of them do, but it depends on the type of Roman blind you choose:

  • Unlined Roman blinds come with a cord and cleat mechanism.
  • Roman blinds with a blackout lining have a sidewinding controls and a choice of coloured chains.
  • Roman blinds with a standard lining have either a sidewinding mechanism or a cord and cleat.
  • If you want a Roman blind with a standard lining and a sidewinding mechanism, choose a deluxe headrail.

Do you sell washable fabrics?

Yup. You’ll find instructions for washing on the blinds. Or you could choose a Teflon or PVC fabric – you easily can wipe these clean.

What products would you recommend for a child’s bedroom

You can choose all sorts of big, bright and beautiful designs for a child’s bedroom. A blackout option is a good idea, because it will help you child stay asleep in the morning.
All our blinds are either child safe by design or come with child-safety features too.

Do child-safety devices come with your blinds?

Some of our blinds are child safe by design, so don’t need a device. But all our blinds with cords or chains come with child-safety devices.
And blinds with looped control chains or cords feature breakaway devices that snap under pressure (but are easily fixed).

Will I have to fix a child-safety device to the tiling around my bedroom window?

You have alternatives. Go for a control and chain-free design, like Pleated blinds or Perfect Fit blinds. You could treat yourself to waterproof shutters too.

Can I review the items in my basket?

Of course. Click to go to your basket (it’s in the top-right of your page). Then click on the item you want to go over. You can change your measurements and any accessories and even remove the blind completely.

How do I save changes in my basket?

Just click update basket.

How do I order a sample?

While you’re browsing our fabrics, just click on the free sample button. We’ll send you a piece of the fabric and you can see how it looks in your home.

The page I’m trying to see says there is an error. What does this mean?

It would be good if you could send us an email email us. Tell us exactly what’s happened and what browser you are using.

There are lots of benefits to creating a Web-blinds account. Once you’ve registered you will be able to:

How do I change my billing address?

This is easy. You should:

  • Login to your account
  • Select ‘update my details’
  • Select ‘my addresses’ and then change your details using the ‘add new address’ button
  • Click on ‘save address’

How do I add a new address?

You can do this in minutes. You should:

  • Login to your account
  • Select ‘my addresses’ and then change your details using the ‘add new address’ button
  • Enter your details and hit save

Orders and Deliveries

What is your refund and returns policy?

Sorry we can’t offer you a refund for a made-to-measure blind, because each of these is tailored to a specific window.

To prevent mistakes, you should follow our measuring guides, take care entering your details, and check everything is right on your confirmation email.

For a small charge, you can take out mismeasurement insurance on most blinds. And that means you’ll be covered against mistakes and can have your blind replaced for free.

Can I change my order once I've submitted it?

You can, so long as we’ve not already started making your blinds. Give us a call +44 115 852 0957 ASAP and we will see what we can do.

What time will I receive my delivery?

Here are the different time slots for each of them:

  • Standard deliveries will arrive Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 5:30pm.

Can I change my mind about which side the control is on?

You should be sure when you place your order. But with Vertical blinds, you can change the side yourself by simply flipping the headrail.

My Vertical blind has arrived but I don’t have an Allen key, what should I do?

You should find the Allen key in the box with your louvres. If not, we’re happy to send you a new one. Just give us a call +44 115 852 0957.

I bought two Wooden blinds and they look different to each other. Why is this?

Each piece of wood is unique, with slight differences in grain, pin knots, tiger striping, burl figures etc. So all our Wooden blinds are subtly different.

If you’re after a uniform look, then go for our fauxwood options.

Why does my blind look different to the swatch on the website?

If you’ve chosen a large patterned fabric, it might not always be possible to see the full pattern on a fabric sample. So it’s a good idea to look at the picture of the blind at a window on the site to get an idea of the scale of the pattern.
And occasionally, colours will look different on your monitor to real life. So you should always order a sample to double check.

Can I track my order?

We’ll send you an email to let you know when your order is ready to be despatched from our factory and will be sent to your courier shortly. You’ll be able to click on a handy link to check when it’s out for delivery too.

What if I'm out when my delivery comes?

You can tell us a safe place for the delivery person to leave your order left during checkout.
If you don’t do this, the delivery person will leave a card and try again on another day.

Measuring and Fitting

Do you offer a measuring and fitting service?

No, we don’t.

What’s the difference between an exact and recess blind?

Well … exact blinds are made to the exact measurements you entered. Exact blinds go on the outside of your window.
Recess blinds go in the recess of your window. We make small adjustments to your measurements, so your blind will fit perfectly.

My window is an awkward shape. How do I measure for my blind?
