Maggie’s conservatory is a room the whole family enjoys. So making it a comfortable place all year round was important. And that’s where Perfect Fit blinds came in.
As any family will know, the living areas in the home are always a busy hive of activity. The conservatory attached to Maggie’s lounge was no different. But as the nights drew in, Maggie used to shut the door on the uninviting room. And so began her hunt for conservatory blinds…
“When it’s dark outside, none of us liked to gaze out into pitch-blackness – and with no blinds at the windows, that’s what we found ourselves doing,” says Maggie.
“I wanted a stylish design that would be both practical and pick up on the décor. And because we’re a busy family, so I wanted to order online, and the whole process to be easy.
“Web-Blinds ticked all those boxes. I came across Perfect Fit blinds and was immediately impressed. We wouldn’t have to drill into our uPVC windows because the blinds clip into the frames!”
Maggie went for Ebb Silver, a light and airy fabric with a contemporary feel. Choosing to have the blinds on her bottom windows and the patio doors, she set about measuring.
“I’m not the most confident DIYer but the guides on Web-Blinds were so comprehensive. They really did take you through the whole process. So when it came to measuring up, I felt confident enough to do the whole conservatory on my own.
“Fitting was just as simple too. I watched Web-Blinds’ video as I went along to check I was doing each step correctly, and then repeated for each window. I couldn’t believe how simple it was.”
Perfect Fit blinds are operated with tabs, making them a great choice if there are kids in the house as they’re inherently child-safe. And of course, it makes them amazingly easy to operate for the whole family too.
“I love that we can position individual blinds to block out the light when the sun’s in our eyes, but we can also pull them all down for a cosy feel at night. It’s become the whole family’s favourite room.
“Of course, I love to sneak a few private minutes with a magazine when I can. And now I’ve got the blinds I wanted, I can enjoy my conservatory right into the evenings too.”
