Lots of our case studies showcase how our blinds and shutters transform customers’ homes. But what about a school? Cecilia explains how Web-Blinds helped to make a special educational needs school in Loughborough that little bit more comfortable for the children.
When Cecilia and business partner Mark acquired the stunning period property, now home to the Loughborough school they run, it had been recently refurbished by the council. And they had an exciting vision for the space.
It was their dream to open a place for high functioning autistic children to be taught in a space they could feel safe. And the result was a place that was much quieter, with fewer children, to help those who found mainstream environments too busy.
With it being an old building, a lot of the windows are quite large. Cecilia and the staff wanted to put something at the window that was practical and attractive. And Web-Blinds was the perfect choice.
“We placed a bulk order with Web-Blinds,” says Cecilia. “The product is a very good price and of great quality too. The blinds need to withstand a lot of use, and they’re really holding up to the job.
“We chose Vertical blinds for the bay windows. They’re a great way to filter the light, and the green shade throughout keeps some uniformity. Both the Roller and Vertical blinds are brilliantly lightfast too and very easy to operate.”
A Roller blind is an equally practical choice for the kitchen, where it provides a beautiful glowy effect at the window.
“We keep coming back to Web-Blinds,” says Cecilia, “and will do for any window we need to dress in the future. Delivery is so quick – I’d recommend them to anyone!”
