I’m itching to put something at my bathroom windows. Although they’re frosted, I can’t help feeling my neighbours are getting a little more than they’ve bargained for, especially when it’s dark outside! I’ve thought about a blind before, but I’m worried it will go mouldy in the damp conditions. Help?
Hoping to protect my modesty,
You’re not alone with your bathroom window woes. Luckily, we’ve a few ideas to help you out. First of all, you’ll want to choose a waterproof solution to ensure it will withstand the steamy conditions.
A Roller blind or a Vertical blind in a PVC or wipe-clean fabric will be perfect for the job – they’re super practical, very durable, and will provide you with that extra layer of protection you need at the window..
Alternatively, if you like the effect of wood, our waterproof Atlantic shutters or Fauxwood blinds are another stylish option. They keep the gorgeous appearance of wood, but won’t warp in a bathroom. And best of all, no more dashing around with your towel on!

We’re always pleased to offer advice on the best window dressings, but we were even more pleased when Claire sent us photos of the finished product. We don’t half like a little snoop!
“I was really impressed with the selection of blinds on the Web-Blinds site,” says Claire. “I really liked the idea of a PVC Roller blind as I knew it would be super easy to clean. I didn’t even know such a thing existed!
“I went for a pretty white blind with a lovely pattern – it’s almost like brushstrokes, and adds something special to my windows.
“Measuring and fitting was easy. I used the videos to check I was measuring accurately, and referenced them again to fit. It really was a doddle.
“They look great up, and really bring the bathroom together. It finally feels finished.
“Now, I’m over the moon that my bathroom is private. I’m ready for winter, when having the light on often made me worry what the neighbours could see – I dread to think!”
